Elvira Hancock

Ceesie watched the movie "Scarface" for the 24th time in his life and can't get over the fact how HOT and AMAZING Elvira Hancock is.
Michelle pfeiffer plays such a cool chic, I die every time I see it.

After publishing my cookbook MODEL KITCHEN Ceesie felt like moving on to the next step… and what's the most logical thing to do after publishing a cookbook? Trying to get your own cooking show.
So Ceesie decided to make a pitch and with the help of IMG models this all happened in no time.
I asked my sexy model friend Kelly Rohrbach (who is one of the 7 rookies into Sports Illustrated's annual Issue) to come and cook with me in my New York Kitchen.

Two Hands

Ceesie discovered his new favorite lunch place.
Two hands is a cute, newly opened, restaurant where good food is served by two cool dudes (from Australia).
I passed this little restaurant the other day and it pulled me straight in.
This place is very cool: modern art, hanging light bulbs, wooden tables and brick walls… The music is on point and the staff is very laid back and HOT. Ceesie felt like he was back in Sydney, which he loved.
I asked for a Almond milk Latte, which turned out to be amazing. One of he best coffees I had in a LONG time. But I didn't stop there, Ceesie tried the ricotta toast AND a banana bread slice after.
So yummy!!!!  You have to give it to those Aussies, they don't disappoint!

zucchini pasta

Ceesie discovered his new favorite recipe: zucchini pasta.
I tried it the other day and I am absolutely in LOVE! It taste like regular pasta, but it's carb free, very healthy and low in calories, the perfect model dish!

Here is the recipe:
For the Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic; peeled and minced
- 1 carrot, diced
- a few mushrooms, cut in small slices
- 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasonings
- handful fresh basil leaves, finely chopped
- salt and pepper to season
- 1 can of roasted tomatoes sauce

For the zucchini noodles:
- 4 large zucchini

In a pot over medium heat add the olive oil, onions and garlic and let it cook for a few minutes.
Add the carrots, mushrooms and let it cook for another 3-5 minutes till all the veggies are well cooked. Add the tomato sauce, spices and basil leaves.
Reduce heat to medium low and cover, allowing the sauce to continue to simmer for 30 minutes.

To prepare the zucchini noodles, firstly, wash and dry the zucchini then use a spiralizer to create a noodle, place the zucchini into the machine and turn the handle to begin the cycle. If you don't have a spiralizer you can also use a julienne peeler.
Divide the raw zucchini noodles and add to the sauce. Mix and let it sit for 2 minutes.
Place noodles on your plate, placing the warm sauce and garnish on top, finalize by adding some fresh parmesan for extra flavor.

Enjoy this carb free pasta!

J to the LO

Ceesie went to see the movie "The boy next door " this past weekend. (Don't judge me judge Judy!)
The movie was obviously a bad movie, but I kind of enjoyed it.
It was sexy, thrilling, didn't had to use my brain and I was so impressed by Jennefer Lopez's beauty. The women has not aged since the 90's.
Hands down, she is (still) the hottest Hollywood star on the planet. Her body, her face, her hair, her ass,… she still has it.
Jenny from the block, Ceesie love you.

Could a dog help me find a date?

Everyone knows that finding a date in NYC is as hard as finding a needle in a haystack.
The other day I was walking to my gym and all of a sudden I thought… maybe I should get a dog so I can meet a hot date!?
Ceesie thinks that some New Yorkers buy a dog to get them find the love of their live. People in NYC are just always in a hurry and it's hard to make a genuine connection with a new person and sometimes a dog is the only thing that gets people to stop and talk.

Hi, I'm ceesie and I'm a sugar addict

Ceesie just watched a documentary about the huge amount of sugar we put in our body on a daily basis and I was SHOCKED.
Did you know that every year a human eats about 45 kilograms of sugar?
I know we all like to have a little bit of sweet in our morning coffee, so does Ceesie, and that one spoon won't hurt us, but the average sugar intake in the USA is 30 teaspoons per person per day!!!
Just to give you an idea, a single can of coke has 39 teaspoons of sugar and a small pack of M&M's may be more than you should have in a day. So imagine how much more we ask our poor body to digest.
Ceesie has to confess that he has a huge sweet tooth himself, every night after my dinner I NEED to have something sweet. I'm probably a sugar addict, like so many others, without even knowing it.
It's disturbing what too much sugar does to a human body: Heart disease, weight gain, diabetes, liver failure, cancer, kidney disease, addiction,…
I know it's hard to resist those sour patch kids, reese's cup cakes, that caramel popcorn while watching a movie or that delicious peanut butter jelly sandwich in the morning, but I think we should all start 2015 with a great New Year's resolution; to eat less sugar and to think about our body before putting another skittle between our teeth, cause we might end up with none when we reach 60.

Thanksgiving weekend is over and what a weekend it was.
Ceesie got invited to have a full on traditional American Thanksgiving with his friend that lives in the Hamptons.
Her family is Italian/American, so you can only imagine how much food (and booze) we had.
Her mom made a huge turkey, a ham, string beans, corn bread, sweet potatoes, mixed salad, roasted little onions,… and Ceesie made delicious Brussel sprouts to go with it.
All this food made the model have a food coma for about 2 hours and woke me up with a huge hangover, but I guess that's the point of Thanksgiving, right? To be thankful for what we have in life and to enjoy tons of food and liquor with friends and family.

Here is the recipe for my delicious Brussel sprouts, which you can also find it back in my cookbook MODEL KITCHEN.

  • -  2 lbs. (900 g) Brussels sprouts, cleaned and rinsed
  • -  1/2 lemon
  • -  1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • - 1 tablespoon honey
  • -  2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • -  olive oil
  • -  salt and pepper
  • Steam the rinsed Brussels sprouts for 8 minutes. Then plunge into ice-cold water and drain. You shouldn’t overcook Brussels sprouts, otherwise they’ll lose their crispness.Heat a large pan on fairly high heat with the olive oil. Allow the oil to get nice and hot and add the Brussels sprouts. Sauté until they become golden brown and sprinkle with a bit of nutmeg and some honey. They should get a nice brown color, but make sure they don’t burn. Transfer into a large bowl, add a bit more salt and pepper and squeeze the half lemon over the Brussels sprouts. Finally, top with the sesame seeds.
  • Ceesie likes to add some crispy bacon to it. If you do so, replace the olive oil with the bacon fat to get that extra nice taste and don't use too much salt, as bacon is already a bit salty.
  • ENJOY!

Cafe Gitane

As being a huge food lover I've decided to share some of my favorite food spots in New York City.
Cafe Gitane is a cute little restaurant, located on Mott and Prince Street in NoLiTa, that serves French/Moroccan cuisine. Even though the kitchen is open from 8.30am till 11.30pm, Ceesie prefers to go for lunch on a sunny day.
The restaurant is small and cute, so you usually have to wait about 20-30 minutes, but it's worth the wait.
What to get?
Ceesie likes to start with a fresh cucumber juice and the AMAZING avocado toast, made with generous amounts of fresh avocado, lemon juice and chili flakes.
As a main I usually order the smoked-trout lentil salad, very healthy and filling. (I even copied the recipe in my cookbook, MODEL KITCHEN, that's how good it is!)
The Moroccan couscous with red peppers, raisins, toasted pinenuts, hummus and eggplant - with organic chicken is also one of my favorite dishes on the menu.
It's cash only, so don't forget those dollar bills y'all.

In a nutshell, Cafe Gitane always lives up my expectations. The ambiance is cool, food is great and trendy people are most likely to be spot at Gitane.
Ceesie is a fan!

Back when Gucci was the sh*t to rock

Ceesie just finished reading the book "The house of Gucci" - a biography about the famous fashion house.
While reading the book I remembered how amazing and chic this brand was when Tom Ford was the designer. My mom was so in love with this brand, just as any other women who loved fashion back then.
But Ceesie remembered the unforgettable campaigns more than anything. Many times a photo really does speak louder than words, and in this case, these images spoke to me. They were HOT and screamed SEX, even tough I was a very young Ceesie!
Today, so many years later, I'm still so fascinated by those images as when I saw them for the first time.

Music videos

Ceesie misses watching music videos on television. As a child/teenager I always watched MTV or any other music channel when I got home from school.
Here are some (of the many) videos that had a huge impact on Ceesie and still bring a lot of nostalgia.
