Lately I see her every where... On every red carpet, at every hot party and in every fashion Magazine... obviously she's the IT girl!

Alexa Chung, Who are you?

Alexa Chung was born on November 5Th 1983. She is a British model and Television presenter. Alexa had her own programme: "It's on with Alexa Chung" on MTV America.

Ms Chung is also a DJ, works part time for VOGUE and is Karl Lagerfeld's latest muse.

She is half Chinese/half British.

Not only does she consistently top high profile best-dressed lists, but Alexa has become a regular on the London/New York party circuit, often spotted alongside Agyness Deyn, Peaches Geldof, Kelly Osbourne and Arctic Monkey boyfriend, Alex Turner.

Ceesie just LOVES her style and outfits. For me she is one of the best dressed girls for the moment.

Food obsessed???

I think that My 2 biggest interests in life are Fashion and Food.

But lately I'm more into food.

If someone asks me what my favorite dish is, I tell them I can't answer the question, cause Ceesie has more then 20 favorite dishes!

Is it funny If I say that I'm food obsessed??

I really think I am...

I don't know why, but EVERY hour I think about something I wanna put in my mouth or swallow down my stomach. When I'm bored or when I'm with my friends, walking around in the city, the subject is often: fOOD.

Even before I go to bed I'm already thinking what I wanna have for Breakfast.

Sounds funny no??

My parents and friends tell me I have a problem!

I just enjoy a good meal so much. It's even so bad that sometimes I call my dad to ask what he's gonna cook and then I call my mom to see what she's going to cook, so i can decide where is best! haha

Shame on me.

I just LOVE to fantasies about food. Or to dream about what I wanna eat...

Mmmmm... Imagine having the mac and cheese from Dumont restaurant in NYC right now, or a hot cinnamon roll with extra butter on top, or a pizza slice with Parmesan cheese and a cold diet coke to flush it down , or just a simple piece of bread that you dip in some great olive oil from Greece mixed with rosemary leaves and salt, or a little piece of Belgian chocolate melting on your tong while sipping from a hot coffee...

I can go on and on and on.

I just love to talk about food.

Maybe I should start my own food channel or cooking program or write my own cookbook...

This one is about my perfect summer and all the fun stuff I like to do when I'm back home in Gent...

coffee time

Today I wanna write about coffee...

I wrote about Starbucks already and how much money I spend on it every day but now I wanna write about the real stuff. Starbucks has good lattes and frappuccino's but there is nothing better then a real cappuccino or a regular coffee made of great coffee beans.

Everyday Ceesie needs his coffee. It's funny because 2 years ago I hated coffee. I thought it was the most discusting drink in the world, way to bitter with a nasty smell.

Funny how things can change.

The ideal taste of a coffee should be a perfect balance between sweetness, bitterness and acidity.

A cappuccino is like a cocktail, and the ingredients need to be right. That includes the milk, full fat is the best to make a great cappuccino(but ceesie always asks for skim- or Soy milk).

I ♥ a soy cappuccino or a skinny latte.

There are so many types and styles to make a great coffee but no stomach is large enough to taste them all.

The other funny thing about coffee is that it's also a social event for me. Every time I meet up with a friend we go for a cup of coffee. There is nothing better then to sit down and talk for hours while you're enjoying your cup of black gold.

Every time Ceesie comes back from a sunny holiday it rains in Belgium... Makes me so depressed and NOT happy to be back home.

But this time I felt even more depressed because IBIZA was AMAZING and I didn't wanna leave!!!

The Party Island stole my heart.

I was impressed about the beauty of the Spanish island. The nature is just incredible over there... It reminded me a little of the south of France but even better!

The beaches were the most beautiful. All surrounded by big cliffs and rocks and the water was blue and see through: PARADISE!

And that's only about the nature.

PARTY?? HELL YEAH!!!

The Ibiza-clubs are totally over the top.

Fiesta-Loco-tropical! HA!

The clubs are huge and full of crazy party people, just the way Ceesie likes it. ;-)

I just loved the mix of... partying, great restaurants, amazing beaches and fun people from all over the globe.

Enter the Void

Yesterday i went to see the movie "Enter the void" a movie from Gaspar Noe, the same director of the movie "Irreversible".

Someone told that I really needed to go watch the movie because it all takes place in Tokyo and that the movie is a masterpiece. So I though, why not give it a try.

Hmmm... Not such a great idea to go watch it on a Tuesday night when you don't feel 100% happy or when you're a little tired. ;-)

The story:

The movie is about a guy named Oscar who is a drug addict and dealer who lives in Tokyo. In the beginning of the movie he get killed and after the that Oscar watches over his younger sister, Linda, as a ghost. Linda becomes a stripper / prostitute who works in a night club in Tokyo. The camera follows Oscar from behind his head during scenes in which he is alive. The only time Oscar's face is shown is when he looks into a mirror. A little strange and annoying for Ceesie.

The movie is EXTREMELY mind Fucking.

It reminded me a little of the movie "Requiem for a dream", maybe not that fucked up, but it's VERY close to that.

I thought it was a really good movie with amazing effects ,as in colors and light, but some parts were very long and boring.

The worst part is that instead of cutting from one scene that the dead Oscar is observing to the next, The director has decided to go through a sort of diving into light or black holes, followed by a camera that flies over buildings for several minutes in order to settle into the next location. This happens at least 20 or 30 times in the film. And I also think that many flashbacks to the children's early trauma, along with other scenes, are unnecessarily repeated several times. Makes it the movie a little to long and boring for me.

In the end, everything has been very meaningless. I guess that's why the movie is called Enter the Void. At the end, it’s all about emptiness.

Anyway It was a great movie and one I will not forget very fast.

After the movie my cousin and me were in desperate need for some Cocktails to flush down the psychedelic trip. ;-)

Running shoes

Why are Running shoes always so ugly?

I just don't get it...

In my whole life I never saw one pair of Running shoes that I thought looked cool or beautiful.

Is it so difficult to design a simple back or white shoe without the fluo or the "star trek" theme.

OK, I know running shoes have to be good for running and have to be comfortable but why do they always have to look so... hmmm... Spider man-ish???

I feel ashamed if I need to get something in a store while I'm still wearing my running shoes.

So nike, Asics, Puma or Adidas design ceesie some nice simple and cool new Running shoes please...

ICE ICE BABY 2

I know that I've wrote already about the fact that Italians are the best ice cream makers, but i have to say that I tried the best Ice cream of my life in Lisboa.

In Lisbon there is a new ice cream store, called Santini.

They have also another store, the original one, located in Cascais... 40 minutes away from Lisbon.

The Ice cream is just NOT NORMAL. I tried one with Cinnamon flavor, ceesie LOVES cinnamon, and the other one with Hazelnut.

OH boy!! I'm telling you It was incredible...

So if you go to Lisbon DO NOT forget to try the best Italian ice cream of your life!!! :-)

Lauren hill

My last 2 nights in Lisbon were unforgettable.

First me and my friends went for a nice dinner in barrio alto, one of my favorite places in Lisboa, where we went crazy on the 3 dollar mojito's en caipiroshka's that led to a binge drinking contest. ;-)

After that, time for some heavy booty shaking with the one and only Dj harvey in THE LUX.

The LUX is THA club in Lisbon, so big, full of cool people and the Location is the shit.

We got back to our hotel at 10 am totally fucked up... But who cares, I'm on a holiday!

The day after was a little less amazing: HUNGOVER time!!!

But my favorite singer in the world made it up for me. The one and only Lauryn Hill preformed in the centre of Lisbon.

For me Lauryn Hill is the best singer in the world. Her album The miseducation of Lauryn Hill is one of my favorite albums ever made. I still listen to it every week.

A great surprise to finish an amazing Holiday.
