X-MAS

It's that time of the year where everybody comes together; Friends, family and lovers to celebrate Ceesie's favorite holiday: Christmas!
A time to sit down and remember the birth of Jesus.
Although I'm not christian I do enjoy eating my dad's turkey, opening presents and that all with a good glass of champagne surrounded by my beloved family, what more do you want?
So to all my blog-lovers: **MERRY CHRISTMAS**

shut up, I wear heels bigger then your dick

Yesterday I was looking for some funny pictures on my laptop and suddenly I found this one.
It's from the French Vogue shoot I did this summer and I think it's just HILARIOUS to see myself wearing 10 cm high heels. Girls RESPECT, walking in high heels is not as easy as it seems!! But me, mean Ceesie , always tells his girlfriends to wear high heels when we go out partying. I just thinks that every girl looks much sexier with a pair of heels on.
So I guess that those who wants to be beautiful must suffer? ;-)

Winter wonderland

I think I'm falling in love with the winter...
My city has never looked so pretty and peaceful.
It hasn't stopped snowing for over 2 weeks now and there is still more snow coming our way!! We never had so much diamond dust since 1945.
What's going on with the weather and the world? Makes me a little scared.
But I guess there's nothing we can do about it, so let's just enjoy this unusual weather.

Proud to be a Belgian

Ceesie is proud to be born in the Kingdom of Belgium.
I think Belgium is a great country, although we're small we have everything we need: nice city's, a sea, history, nature, fashion and good food.
Maybe the weather is not always the best but that makes us more happy when we go for a sunny holiday. ;-)
The other thing that I love about being a Belgian is the fact that we speak 3 or more languages and that our accent isn't that horrible if we take a little bit of practice.
Most people from my country speak French, Dutch and English, it's just a base we learn when we grow up.
Another thing I love is that we don't have any enemies, I think that we Belgians are always more than welcome in every country we go to.

Lara stone to the Bone

Yesterday I was surfing on the Internet and suddenly I saw this article about "the terrible Rise of Lara Stone lookalikes" and I have to say that Ceesie agrees with the whole article.
For me there is only ONE Lara stone.

Lara Stone is a successful model and we basically love seeing her everywhere. But what we don't love is seeing all the girls who look like Lara, kinda-sorta, that the modeling industry is now promoting to ubiquity. This must stop.

It's not as if anyone can help the face they were born with — barring Lara-izing plastic surgery, which we certainly hope modeling agents aren't pushing, or de-Lara-izing plastic surgery, which we hope nobody is considering — and allof these youngsters are beautiful. (And Lara Stone's oft-remarked resemblance to another earlier beauty icon — Brigitte Bardot — probably helped her career.) I just happen to think they'd be more beautiful if they were allowed to look like themselves, rather than shoehorned into an ideal Stone popularized. Whether or not a model looks like someone else in a picture will always be more a function of the decisions of the photographer, the stylist, and the hair and makeup artists than of her own bone structure; almost anyone could be turned into a Lara double, from certain angles, for a day. And that is precisely what many top magazines and brands seem bent on doing!

Lara Stone is a face of Calvin Klein and a muse of Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci, Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld, and Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld. She's graced the cover of American Vogue, shot with Steven Meisel, Steven Klein, and every other top photographer in between, been the subject of revealing profiles and speculation about her weight, and her wedding to comedian David Walliams made international headlines. So it makes sense, in a way, that agents would be looking through their rosters with newly acquired Stone-vision, and telling their scouts to bring in more girls who have a bit of what Times fashion critic Cathy Horyn once called Stone's "burst into tears or belt you in the chops" kind of look. Specifically: blonde hair, pale eyebrows, big lips, big boobs, and, if possible, a gap-toothed smile. Fashion reduced Stone's beauty down to a formula, and now the Lara-likes are upon us.

Berlin

Last week Ceesie went to Berlin for a shoot.
Berlin the city of : Culture, art, the Berlin wall, great architecture, Döner Kebab and so much more.
I LOVE Berlin. I think the city has something unique that other city's don't have... I'm always so impressed by the architecture Berlin has. You can walk next to a new built skyscraper and next to it there's an old building remaining from the war.
Also the art is just incredible, Berlin has more than 15 museums and over a 100 exhibitions and galleries to offer.
Ceesie went to the contemporary art museum and to an exhibition of, one of my favorite photographer, Peter Lindbergh.
Also the nightlife is: NOT NORMAL! You can party in Berlin 24/7. The best house/electro/trance parties in the most amazing underground locations.
Berlin you impressed me, again.

The voice of Europe

Actually it's kind of funny that you all wanna hear my voice or see a video of me.
Cause Wednesday morning I did an interview for a Belgian radio station.
It was Ceesie's first experience with being on the radio. For me it was kind of funny and weird to hear my own voice through speakers.
Sadly enough I don't have a crazy Ceesie video of myself (not yet) but here is a video that I found on the Internet...
It's a video that my agency took before I went to Tokyo: Enjoy!

All Models are ... CRAZY

I just realised that most models are all crazy in the coconut!
But why?
Ceesie thinks it's because we are traveling around the world from a young age. We are also very spoiled and most of the time alone. Models don't really have a home home, and we don't live a regular life like most people do.
We spend most of our time with fashion people and most people who work in fashion don't have a "normal" life/job, my opinion.
The fashion business is weird: To vain and there is nothing intellectual about it.
I don't think there is anything wrong with being crazy.
Ceesie himself is also a "little" wacky and that's what makes us all unique in our own way!
I LOVE craziness! ;-)
