And the oscar goes to...

Yesterday night was Oscar night.

Like every year I'm all exited to see who goes home with that little golden man.

And Ceesie does his Oscar homework well. Just as every other year I try to see almost every movie that is nominated.

I was kind of disappointed that Black Swan didn't win the Oscar for best picture but I do was happy that Natalie Portman went home with the Oscar for best actress.

Actor for supporting role definitely went to the correct guy, Christian Bale.

Toy story 3 best animation picture, Ceesie totally agrees with that victory.

But for me, best actor needed to go to James Franco or Javier Bardem and NOT Colin firth. I think Colin Firth played a better role in the movie a single men.

Anyway... I'm happy and satisfied and enjoyed the show a lot.

I just wish that I'll go home with an Oscar one day!

Fashion week, for the guys, is finally over.

(Boys end with NY fashion week, girls start with NY fashion week.)

I think the hardest thing for me, next to walking around and waiting all the time to get a confirmation to book a show, is the fact that your constantly surrounded by beautiful people.

It may sound a little strange and funny but it's really irritating sometimes.

Your self-confidence goes down, you don't feel very special anymore and at the end of the fashion week your craving to see an ugly or a non model person, at least that's what ceesie thinks!

Ceesie is done and happy it's all over, for the next 6 months.

Girls I stand by you! ;-)

Monkey bread

The other day my friend made me monkey bread.

I never heard or tasted it so I was very exited.

As I'm such cinnamon lover she was sure I would LOVE it.

No joke, it's by far the best dessert I've ever had in my life.

Crunchy, cinnamon and sweet my 3 favorites in one!

Here is the recipe:

What do we need:

4 can refrigerated biscuit dough

1 cup brown sugar (or 100 grams)

1 1/2 stick of butter (or 60 grams)

1 1/2 cup white sugar (or 50 grams)

3 tablespoons cinnamon

Here we go:

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees °F (or 170 °C) and grease a baking pan with some butter.

- Mix white sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Cut the biscuit dough into little pieces and mix them into the cinnamon/sugar mix. Make sure they are all well covered in the delicious mix.

- Arrange all the pieces in the greased pan. Continue layering until all the biscuits are in the pan.

- In a small saucepan you melt the butter with the brown sugar. Boil for one minute so you have a liquid caramel. Pour over the layered biscuits.

- Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated over. Let bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then turn out into a plate and ready you are to enjoy the monkey bread!

Last night was a night to Remember.

Ceesie was invited to the V-magazine party, so me and my friend went all dressed up and ready to ROCK the party.

While we were dancing on the beats of Kanye West I suddenly noticed Kanye himself walking on the dance floor surrounded by bodyguards.

Me, crazy as I am and a little drunk, went up to him and said: "Hey, what up dude? My name is Cesar and I have a blog called after the lyrics of one of your songs."

After that I pulled up my bag , hold it in front of his face and he started laughing like a crazy person and said to me: " You're the man!"

Result: Picture of Ceesie, Kanye AND the bag! Ha!

We all know we can't rome without Cesar, right?

Valentine

Yesterday was Valentine's day and just as last year Lucy and I celebrated it together.

Even tough I'm not such a lovey duvy person, I couldn't let it go by unnoticed.

So we decided to go for a classic date: Dinner and a movie but with a ceesie's style twist to it.

We ended up going for Indian food in the east village on 1st avenue and 6th street.

A very interesting and funny restaurant full with little lights in all different colors and typical Indian Bollywood music. Food was great at the time but not so good the day after. ;-)

After we went for, our personal favorite dessert, frozen yogurt and checked out the movie "the fighter", which wasn't such a bad movie at all.

A successful Valentine if you asked me!

Whole foods

Is there any better supermarket then Whole foods?

I don't think S-O.

For me Whole foods is the sh*t.

When I'm in NYC I go almost every day grocery shopping. I just love to walk around and watch and explore all different kinds of food. Everything there is so healthy and organic, which I love.

And they have the best dried mango's!

Whole foods your the best.

Frozen Margaritas

Another reason why I love NYC so much is because of the Frozen Margaritas.

In Belgium we don't have that much of a Mexican culture, so sadly enough we don't have any nice bars where we can enjoy a good frozen margarita.

Ceesie is obsessed with them. Every time I go out I start my night with drinking 2 (or more) of the tasty liquid treats.

Frozen margaritas is like a promise of a good night for me!

Can you describe your style?

-My personal style is a mix of secondhand and high fashion brands.

I love Givenchy/YSL and Dries Van Noten. I also like COS, AMERCIAN OUTFITTERS and TOPSHOP for cheaper stuff and basics.

I always wear black skinny jeans and some boots. I think that's my signature.

Who is your style icon?

-I don't really have any style Icon, i think it's difficult for a guy to have a male style icon but I do like Tom Ford his style also Yves Saint Laurent is very chic i think.

Tell us one thing that people don’t know about you:

-My friends call me Ceesie.

-I'm obsessed with good and healthy food.

-I love to go to the movies by myself.

-I have a weakness for sweets and candy.

-I know every Hip Hop/ rap or R&B song. I just know every lyric. My friends call me the walking jukebox.

What is a typical day in your life like?

-If I don't have to work or I don't have any castings to do...

I start my day with a healthy breakfast (Yoghurt, papaya, pomegranate, kiwi,... mixed with muesli). Then I go to the Gym for about an hour. I answer my mails or work on my blog. Maybe I'll go to the movies, go to a museum or I read in my book.

Meet up with some friends, go for dinner,...

I think my life is not very different then other peoples lives, except for my job then.

If you could turn back time would you choose a different job?

-Funny, i was thinking that 2 days ago. NO! I would not. I learn everyday and everyday is a new adventure in my life. That's what I love about being a model, everyday is never the same.

Do you have any big plans for 2011?

-I wanna go to Tel Aviv and Buenos Aires.
